NCPA recently offered one of OSU COP’s own, Long Trinh, a P2, a position on the National Student Leadership Council (SLC). During the two-year commitment with SLC, Long will serve as a regional representative and contact for NCPA student chapters within on e the 8 NCPA chapter regions to be finalized in during the Leadership Retreat Long is taking part in in Washington D.C. this month. Additionally, Long will be asked to write an article on the topic of his choice to appear in the New Independent section of NCPA’s monthly America’s Pharmacist publication.
Long’s position with NCPA SLC will bring national level recognition to the OSU College of Pharmacy program and he is hoping that he will be the first of many COP students to serve in the SLC.
