President | Chris Burman

Chris is focusing on his Master’s in Public Health with a minor in Ergonomics at OSU. In 2018 he graduated from National University with his B.S. in Public Health while serving on active duty in the US Navy Seabees. He has completed internships with Ventura County Public Health for community outreach, as well as Anheuser-Busch for Environmental and Occupational Health. During his free time he enjoys the outdoors, including fishing, backpacking and BBQ’s with friends.


Vice President | Melissa Myers

Melissa Myers is a Master’s of Public Health student in the Environmental and Occupational Health track at Oregon State University. She is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Oregon State University’s Masters’s of Public Health internship program. Melissa formerly worked as a Research Assistant for Dr. Laurel Kincl on multiple occupational health research studies. Melissa enjoys traveling with her husband, cooking and reading scary books.


Secretary | Stevie Fitch

Stevie holds a bachelor of science degree in Environmental Biology from Tulane University and is currently a second-year student in the Master of Public Health Program, concentrating in Environmental and Occupational Health. She is exploring multiple areas of research in public health, focusing on occupational hazards and toxins in the environment affecting human and ecosystem health. Over the summer, Stevie was a safety program intern for the City of Eugene Public Works Department. She is a graduate research assistant in the Occupational Ergonomics and Biomechanics Research Laboratory at Oregon State University, investigating underlying musculoskeletal injury mechanisms in various work environments. In her free time, Stevie enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest hiking trails and food scene.


Treasurer | Cristian Reyes

Cristian is currently pursuing his Master’s of Public Health in environmental and occupational health. Cristian graduated in Spring of 2017 from Oregon State University with a BS in Public Health with an option in health promotion and health behavior; with minors in sociology, and environmental health and safety. He has completed internships with Benton County Environmental Health Department and the semiconductor company Siltronics. In his spare time, Cristian likes to go to the gym and lift or play soccer. When he’s not being physically active, he’s on a couch watching YouTube videos or anime.
