On Tuesday, January 29 at 7 pm, the Oregon State University Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society will be hosting a screening of the NOVA documentary Decoding the Weather Machine. This documentary focuses on severe weather events and their relationship to a changing climate, as well as adaptation and mitigation of climate change. Following the documentary there will be a question and answer panel of local professionals in various fields related to weather and climate, including Dr. Ed Brook, who was interviewed in the film.

This event will be held at the Memorial Union Ballroom at OSU’s Corvallis campus. It is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
