Howard Gondola Trip and Hiking"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>These last few days have been extremely informative, but we are all starting to feel the effects of stuffing so much into our brains in such a short time span. We have had full mornings and afternoons of meetings with locals to learn about the history, the natural resources and the food and agriculture of the area. On Sunday, we had the opportunity to ride a gondola up to the top of Mount Howard. It was a beautiful view and Nils Christoffersen accompanied us and gave us a ton of information.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_109\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-109\" style=\"width: 960px\" went for a hike around the trail loops, stopping at various locations to discuss what we were seeing and some of the history of land use within Wallowa County.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_106\"
