Dana Reason is the Director of the Popular Music Studies Program at Oregon State University.
She is an active performer, composer and music scholar. Her research interests include: Hip Hop Music and Culture, Women in Popular, Experimental and Contemporary Classical Music, The Beatles, Film Music,
and World Music.
She has recorded over 11 Cds for a variety of labels in both Canada and the United States. Her newest album: Angle of Vision will be released on itunes December 2011, and followed by a 2012 tour. The album features Oregon phenomenon Glen Moore (bass) and L.A. based drummer and sound designer Peter Valsamis.
