Hello! I’m Nomi.
I’m a Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences E-campus Student at Oregon State University with excellent work ethic and compassion for marine and freshwater fishes. Skills acquired while handling and acclimating specimens for retail use, serving as a volunteer with the Marine and Science Technology Center, and interning with the South African Shark Conservancy. Proficient in tank servicing, employing several capture methods, tagging, collecting fin clips, data entry, and data analysis. These skills have created a driven individual that is compassionate about ethical animal care, conservation of fishes, and educating the public on marine and freshwater species roles and importance.
