Reading an Inside Higher Ed blog about pedagogies of discovery, I wondered how hard it would be to start a blog for my spring course, WR 420/520 Studies in Writing: Innovative and Contemplative Pedagogies using WordPress through the university.  Because my grad student Gail Cole had already set up a blog for my Classical Rhetoric class, all I had to do was decide on a name for the blog and enter it at blogs.oregonstate.edu. Done.  I’m not sure where this blog will go between now and when the course starts in April.  I may post some brainstorming for the course and for my CCCC presentation on the same topic.  For now, I feel great just to have the blog set.  I am excited and grateful that no one already has a blog named Mindful Writers Mindful Teachers.
